PCMS is pleased to showcase local businesses at concerts at the American Philosophical Society with tastings from the area’s finest purveyors of food and drink. The series is popular with both audiences and local businesses.

PCMS is pleased to showcase local businesses at concerts at the American Philosophical Society with tastings from the area’s finest purveyors of food and drink. The series is popular with both audiences and local businesses.

On Friday, March 23, 2012, the American Philosophical Society will host talented young baritone, John Moore. Following his bravura performance of Mozart and Schubert during last year’s Marlboro tour, Moore will return for a solo recital with pianist Anna Polonsky, performing works by Mozart, Schubert, and Tchaikovsky. After being accepted into the Lindemann Young Artist Program at the Metropolitan Opera, Moore has enjoyed great success in both opera and recitals.

Sly Fox Brewery has made expertly crafted beer since 1995 and named Philadelphia’s “Best Brewery” by Philadelphia Magazine. Its beer will be served to audiences before the concert and during intermission. Brewery representative, Patrick Mullin, will serve tastings of Pikeland Pils and Route 113 IPA – two popular local beers.
