UAE, 25th June 2013– In the UAE, the Holy month of Ramadan holds special importance and meaning and is welcomed every year by the locals with great anticipation. Being a multicultural country, the UAE is home to a large number of non–Muslim expats who have a sense of curiosity and a genuine wish to know what is expected during the Holy month.

To provide a greater opportunity to understand this special time, Eton Institute, the UAE’s largest training and development institute, is holding a Free Arabic Course during the month of Ramadan as well as Free Ramadan Etiquette Workshops at both their branches in Dubai and Abu Dhabi. These are aimed at giving the expat community an insight into the beautiful Arabic language and also to create awareness and increase their understanding about the Holy month of Ramadan.

“As part of our CSR efforts we aim to create cultural awareness and responsibility among our community of followers living in the UAE. The Arabic culture and language have so much to offer that conducting two free events is essential for us to emphasize the importance that we place in learning more about the culture of the place that one lives in,” commented Moaz Khan, Marketing Director at Eton Institute.

“Arabic has contributed significantly to the history, heritage, literature and architecture of the world. It is deeply rooted in so many of the languages that people all over the world speak today. The Free Arabic course is a head start for anyone who is interested in learning and discovering more about what this internationally rooted language has to offer,” he added.
