St Petersburg FL, 08-OCTOBER-2013 – Maximo Marina, one of the complete St. Petersburg marinas, is pleased to announce that boat owners can take advantage of the full services for boat storage at the facility. Boats of all sizes can be safely and conveniently stored in or out of the water, depending upon the needs of the owners. Because additional services are available in addition to space, the owner can get work done, or simply put the unit on a dry rack. Wet storage is also available.
According to a spokesman for the St. Petersburg marinas complex, "There are storage and repair services for many sizes and models of boats and motors. Because the facility where repairs are done is close to the location of slips, the watercraft can easily be brought in for necessary work before the boat is stored for the off-season. There are lift mechanisms for removing the craft from the water to rack storage, up to fifty tons in weight."
He continues, "A boat owner wants to be assured that the boat is safe and secure while in a storage facility. The St. Petersburg marinas provide evening hour security personnel so that units stored there are safe. The waterway which leads to open waters is in a geographical position to protect stored boats from many of the storms and weather disturbances which happen in the area."
Storing a boat near the launch site is convenient for owners, whether they want to take it out for an afternoon or a lengthy sea voyage. With more than 300 slips, plus secure rack storage, owners are sure to find a convenient place to store their boat, regardless of size and outfitting. There are both covered and uncovered wet slips, 300 of them are covered locations. This significantly reduces the maintenance costs on your watercraft.
