Originally from Lancaster, Ohio, Rebecca was raised in an academic household as the daughter of a university professor and a kindergarten teacher. Today, she makes her home in a Manhattan apartment and a colonial house in North Stamford, Conn. Her research, writing and advisory work takes her regularly to the San Francisco area, where she has a base in Burlingame. Rebecca Fannin enjoys frequent reporting trips to China, India, and other emerging markets.
