According to a spokesperson for RRSI, "Mold removal is done by certified professionals who have met the State of Texas requirements for mildew cleanup, mold abatement, remediation and removal. RRSI utilizes state of the art techniques and a natural, "green" approach to dealing with mold with guaranteed results."
He continues, "For small areas requiring mold and mildew sanitizing, RRSI will seal off the affected area to prevent the spread of spores and then perform mold sanitizing procedures. For a larger contaminated area, there is a barrier created to seal off non-contaminated areas and sanitize the affected areas. When the process is completed, a mold air and surface test is done to verify the results."
Mold spores are a fungus that grows and thrives outdoors. When they are found within the home or workplace, it is typically because of moisture supplies on the walls or ceiling. Inhaling the spores of mold can create issues with allergies, asthma, congestion and other health problems.
Typically, soda blasting is a way of getting rid of mold. The product is environmentally friendly and completely soluble in water, so it is harmless to humans and pets.
