This optical talk set, model C0240001, operates at a wavelength of 1310 nm or 1550 nm. It carries out full-duplex communication with a high quality connection over an exceptional communication distance.

Online communications is also available when used together with an optical clip-on coupler. It provides a transmission distance of up to 80 km and an output power range from -5 to -7 dBm. FP- LD emitter and FC/PC optical connector are also provided. Modulation frequencies include 270 Hz, 1 kHz, 2 kHz and CW.

Additionally, it is powered by rechargeable battery providing 5 hours continuous operation and has an adaptor power supply as well.
