High Voltage Servomotor Driver Designed for Digital Motor Control System
High Voltage Servomotor Driver Designed for Digital Motor Control System
Toronto, Canada–GAO Embedded (www.GAOEmbedded.com) recommends its high voltage servomotor driver based on Texas Instruments’ TMS320F2812 DSP. This high voltage servomotor driver is designed for high performance Digital Motor Control (DMC) systems.
This driver, model B0M10006, is part of a reliable and fast servomotor driver solution that consists of three parts: the EVM2812 board (DSP part), this component (the HVD) and theIB2812 (interface part). It directly connects with one or two DC brush/brushless servomotors, AC asynchronous motors, AC permanent-magnet synchronous servomotors or stepper motors to form a digital servo-motion control system.
This servomotor drive uses an IPM modulewith over-current, over-voltage, under-voltage and over-heat protections. It also uses a non-inductive absorbing capacitor to eliminate surges and spikes caused by DV/DT effectively protecting IPM. In addition, it has 4 independent IPM power supplies to prevent damage from bootstrap recharge and 8 channels of isolated output.
This high voltage servomotor driverbelongs to GAO's family of TI DSP Evaluation Boards. Other featured products in this line include TI DSP Evaluation Boardwhich features on-chip flash program memory, on-chip and extendable SRAM and extendable EEPROM; TI DSP Evaluation Board (2812EVM-I) which offers code for testing CCS, PWM, ADC, SPI, SCI, CAN communication, FFT, DC brush/brushless motor and AC motor SPWM and SVOWM; and MCK2812 LV (Low Voltage) Servomotor Driver.
