Handheld PON Power Meter Featuring Auto Power-Saving Design
Toronto, Canada– GAO Instruments (www.GAOInstruments.com) recommends its handheld PON power meter. This portable power meter is specially designed for the construction and maintenance of PON networks which can be connected between OLT and ONT.
This PON power meter, model C0260007, features auto power-saving design, light weight and smart navigation menu for simple operation. It is a useful tool that enables quick testing of all PON signals along the network and performs simultaneous measurement and display of PON signals including voice, data and video optical signal. It offers an optional visible fault locator (VFL) which easily identifies fiber and locates faults.
This PON power meter provides 10 groups of configurable threshold values and can save 1000 test results. It also provides simultaneous measurement of all three wavelengths on the fiber including 1490 nm, 1550 nm and 1310 nm. It connects to computer via USB interface for data upload, optical power calibration and threshold modification. In addition, it operates for up to 15 hours when fully charged.
This light weight handheld PON power meter belongs to GAO's family of Power Meters.
