This plug and play fiber optic network interface card (NIC), model C0320004, is designed to operate at 100 Mbps and provides a network throughout of up to 200 Mbps in full-duplex mode.Itcan be installed in the computer through PCI slotand is suitable for use in applications where the access to information point distance is over 100 m.This NIC complies with the IEEE 802.3u 100Base-FX standardand provides IEEE802.3x Flow Control for full duplex operation allowing enhanced operation when directly connected to a switch.
With advanced functions like VLAN filtering function, the adapter provides added performance, flexible configuration and secure networking for users in a standard-based environment. It supports IP Multicast packet filtering which reduces CPU utilization and conserves network bandwidth. IEEE 802.1p tagging is also supported. In addition, two LED indicators (LINK/ACT and FDX) on the bracket will help to supervise the board link, activities and full-duplex status.
