The convenience of having all the services in a single location is beneficial to owners and guests of the facility. The location is convenient to the waterways and access to open water. The fresh-water boat basin reduces the need for extensive removal of barnacles and other growth on the surface of the hull.
A spokesperson for the St. Petersburg marinas explained, "It is expected that a marina will have spaces to park the boats. There are more than three hundred wet slips, as well as high and dry docking for boats of various sizes. The dry docking is available in both inside and outside locations. Your boat can easily be lifted into and out of the water if you want to use a dry storage rack. Forklifts and operators are available to take care of the physical lifts. Boats up to 18,000 pounds and 35 feet in length can be moved safely using the fork truck."
He continues, "There are many amenities that add to the benefits of choosing the marina for your boat storage. Electrical power to the slips to be comfortable when staying on the boat and fuel pumps at a discounted price are a couple of examples. You want your possessions to be safe and secure, so the facility offers a security patrol, onsite managers and a fenced perimeter to give you peace of mind."
There is a convenience store nearby, in order to obtain necessary supplies, as well as a restaurant in close proximity. Visitors to the marina can easily arrange for fishing charters or pleasure excursions down the two hundred foot wide waterway to the open waters. When there is a need for mechanical or service work on the watercraft, there are qualified mechanics available in the full-service shop on-site.
