The cruise ship Carnival Victory docked at PortMiami on Monday morning to start off its four-and five-day trips in select destinations, particularly Bahamas and the Caribbean. It is set to depart on Thursdays with ports of call at Key West and Cozumel, Mexico.

The five-day cruise, on the other hand, will depart on Monday, taking a stop at the Grand Turk, Turks & Caicos Islands, Nassau, Bahamas, and the private Bahamian island of Half Moon Cay. Another cruise is set to depart on Saturday for a five-day tour to George Town, Ocho Rios, Jamaica, and Grand Cayman.

These three new different itineraries offer an array of affordable and convenient cruise choices to travellers, with each destination providing a unique travel experience. Activities for fun and adventure include horse-back riding, zip-lining, and kayaking, among others.

The cruise experience comes with a spacious play area for children from three age groups, a 214-foot-long water slide called Twister and a wide 270-square-foot poolside LED screen that shows Dive-in films every night. Additionally, passengers will enjoy different venues for dancing and entertainment.

When it comes to food, diners can now choose between two full-service restaurants, both of which offering a wide range of menu and wine list. There is also a two-level eatery where scrumptious food choices are served, including a deli that rivals that of New York and a venue for Asian speciality. And even in the dead of the night, a pizzeria and meat-carving stations are available 24 hours to feed hungry travellers.

Also, 60% of the 1,379 staterooms offer the passengers a choice from either an ocean view or a private balcony.

Carnival Victory will be replacing Carnival Destiny, which will leave PortMiami this afternoon as it cruises to Venice, Italy, for a trans-Atlantic voyage, lasting for 18 days. The latter is up for a $155 million renovation, emerging after 49 days from a dry dock bearing the new name, Carnival Sunshine. The newly refurbished liner is said to house a bar, dining, and entertainment centre, as part of the new set of Fun Ship 2.0 enhancements.

Reservations are still open for the four-and five-day Carnival Victory's cruises from Miami.
