New invention proved to reduce severity of head-related injuries in contact sports.

TORONTO - 05/08/2012 – A new advancement in headwear protection, the noggin™ is a fitted skull cap specifically designed to provide additional protection against sports related mild traumatic brain injuries. With head injuries on the rise in hockey, football, baseball and other contact sports, the noggin™ proves to be the start of a new trend in safety.
Toronto-based creator, Armando Pagliari, has a great deal of knowledge on sports and sports safety, with over 20 years of experience in sports therapy treating professionals in the NHL, CFL, and MLB. His experience, on top of being a concerned parent, led him to create a cost-effective, practical garment to be used in conjunction with a certified helmet.
The noggin™ is the new “standard of protection to be worn under a certified helmet to maximize protection against direct blows to the head”
Dr. Glenn Copeland
Team Physician of the Toronto Blue Jays and Chief Medical Officer of Noggin Pro
While helmets are vital in contact sports, they do not stand alone to protect against concussions. The noggin™ is a head cover designed to protect against head trauma and is specially designed with strategically placed gel packs adhered to a stretchable, breathable fabric.
