Toronto Raptors vs. the Washington Wizards & the Charlotte Bobcats

Leading Paragraph: is offering exclusive prices for tickets to all Toronto Raptors home games at the Air Canada Centre.

The Raptors are preparing to welcome the Washington Wizards on April 1st and the Charlotte Bobcats on April 3rd to their home court at the Air Canada Centre.  The Wizards are currently fifth in the Southeast Division while the Bobcats hold the sixth spot.  With the Raptors in fourth place in the Atlantic Division, holding almost as many wins as both the Wizards and Bobcats combined; they have a good chance of adding two more wins to their standing.

The last time the Raptors played the Wizards was February 6th, where it was a close loss of 108-111.  However, in a game a few days earlier on February 3rd, the Raptors took the win at 106-89.  This just goes to show that it really will be anyone’s game.

Playing the Bobcats only once previously this season, they lost on February 17th 91-98.  Guard/ Forward, Reggie Williams scored a season-high 22 points to help the Bobcats snap out of their 16 game losing streak.  With Williams appearing on the court April 3rd, will history repeat itself or will the Raptors dominate the game?

Prior to the March 26th game against Orlando Magic at the ACC, the Raptors announced the signing of guard Alan Anderson to a 10 day contract, meaning he’ll be on the court for the Wizards game but not for the Bobcats game.  Anderson played parts of two seasons with the Bobcats from 2005 to 2007 so it would have been interesting to see how he played against them.  With Anderson averaging 21.5 points and 4.6 rebounds per game with the Canton Charge of the D-League, the Raptors may decide to sign him for a longer period where he will end up facing the Bobcats after all.

The upcoming games are sure to be entertaining, as usual.  With the Raptors sporting their new camo jersey, it might just prove to be a good luck charm.  Even if the Raptors don’t have the best record with home games, fans are hoping they at least reach the 100 point mark which allows ticket holders to a free slice of pizza the following day.  Make it out to an upcoming home game for your chance to see Anderson, the rest of the team and maybe even get some free grub out of it.
